1. Personal Response- This week I went to the movies and watched a really exiting movie in english called Knight and Day. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz where the main characters of this movie. In the movie they take the roles of Roy Miller and June. They did not know each other until they meet at an airport. They both board the same plane, which was a plane June was not supposed to be in. At the plane they start talking and flirting to each other like two ordinary people. But, June does not know that Roy is a secret agent which the FBI is trying to catch. The FBI is doing their best to know every move Roy does. So he is always being watched by cameras. The FBI suspects June is like an alley or something of Roy since they catch them talking and smiling to each other. Roy knows that June is not safe because of this and decides to take her with him to protect her. During their time together a lot of exiting and funny events occur. At the end Roy and June fall in love and Roy is no longer being chased by the FBI.

What I liked the most about this movie was all of the action mixed with comedy. The story was really good and also interesting. The actors followed their roles really good. Also, I really liked that an ordinary girl like June was included in a secret agent movie because it was really fun to watch her reactions and emotions in dangerous moments with Roy. What I did not like about this movie were the parts in which the characters were asleep because they were drugged. The reason I did not like this was because during the time they were asleep they woke up for about some seconds and you could see a really exiting event going on but you could barely see it because they closed their eyes again. To conclude, I had a great experience watching this movie, and I look forward to seeing many movies similarknight_and_day_poster1.jpg to this one.

2. Personal Response- On a night of this week I was watching TV and I found a really great 2005 movie in English called “Goal! The Dream Begins”. It was directed by Danny Cannon and Kuno Becker played the main character “Santiago Munez”. I had already seen the second movie of this series and decided I was going to stay up to see this movie and know how this story started. This movie is about a young man named Santiago Munez who like many people, wished to be a professional soccer player. Santiago lived in Los Angeles, California where he worked as a gardener with his father meaning life was difficult for him. His family is originally Mexican but some time ago they all crossed the Mexican-American border illegaly. Santiago played soccer at a team that was not professional with people of his same social status. He dreamed to be porfessional but he knew he was dreaming. Although he played really good. It was then that an ex English professional soccer scout watches him play and is amazed. He tells Santiago he could be professional and should come to England to try for the New Castle United club. Santiago agrees and with his grandmothers savings he is able to go to New Castle. At New Castle, Santiago tried many times to show his potential in soccer and failed. But after several chances they gave him, the people from New Castle saw he had a great talent in soccer. So he was given a contract at the team. He started at the reserves team, and over time made it to the main team. His dream came true despite all the struggles he went through.

What I liked the most about this movie was that it was a soccer movie. Also that despite Santiago did not do any good at the beginning at New Castle, he was given new chances where he revealed his true potential. If not, he would have returned home and probably be a gardener for the rest of his life. What I did not like of this movie was the attitude of Santiago's father. He was always so tough and rude at Santiago. He always told him he would never be a professional player and did not support him at all and Santiago needed a lot of support at this time. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and glad to have stayed up until late to see how this story started.

3.Personal Response-This week I went to the movies to watch a movie that was not really of my interest. My sister and mother really like this movie saga so we unfortunately had to see it. The name of this movie is “Eclipse” which is the third movie of the Twilight saga written by Stephanie Meyer. The movie was directed by David Slade. Robert Pattinson( Edward), Kristen Stewart(Bella) and Taylor Lautner(Jacob) played the main characters of this movie. This movie begins with several rumors of murders and disappearances in Seattle. During the movie Bella is kind of under pressure of choosing between the vampire Edward, or the werewolf Jacob. Rivalry between Edward and Jacob is shown throughout the movie. The Cullens(Edward's family) discover that the events in Seattle were caused by vampires and also that an army of new born vampires was being formed. This army was coming to end with the Cullens. At the end, the Cullens with the help of the werewolves defeat the newborn vampires army. Bella admits she loves Jacob, but that she loves Edward more and wants to become a vampire.

What I liked about this movie was basically nothing. What could come closest to my interest were the few scenes of fights, which weren't really exiting. What I did not like about this movie is the whole weird love story because it does not fit on a vampire/ werewolf movie. A movie of this type should include a lot of more action and exiting events. But instead, this movie has a weird complicated love story that basically bores all of the men watching the movie. But, this is a girls movie and I am not supposed to like it. To conclude, I did not like this movie much but I have indeed seen worst.

4.Personal Response- This week on saturday I was really bored so I decided to rent a movie. I decided to rent a recently out movie called "Greenzone" directed by Paul Greengrass. Matt Damon played the main character of the movie Roy Miller. This movie is about the conflict between the United States and Iraq that occured around 2003. Roy is the chief of an american millitary squad and he is being sent to many sites in search of weapons of mass destruction. At the end after many struggle Roy finds out that an Iraqui general had already told americans that there were no weapons of this kind in Iraq in a secret meeting. Instead, these americans invented a lie that these weapons were in Iraq to attack them. Roy writes an article about all of what he found out and sends it to many people so everyone would soon know the truth.

What I liked the most was all the action and exitment throughout the movie. Also, all the mistery solving and pursuit of people since it was really interesting. What I did not like was the situation of the Iraqui people in the movie. Seeing all of these people dying in the streets while americans were playing at the pool at an Iraq palace gave me sadness. But, I don't regret renting this movie since it was so interesting and is based on actual events.

5.Personal Response- This week my father decided to rent a movie so we could all see it as a family. He rented a recently out movie called "Everybody's Fine" directed by Kirk Jones. Robert De Niro plays the main character of this movie; an aged man called Jack. Jack had not seen his children in a while so he invites them all to come home. His children are now grownups and have busy lives. Jack does his best to prepare his house to receive his sons. But, one by one call him to tell him that they cannot be there for some reason. Jack gets sad because he really wanted to see them. So, he decides to go and pay them a surprise by visiting each of them. Despite he has a sickness and was told by his doctor he should not travel.

What I liked the most was Jack's personality and attitude. He was always so positive, warm, and such a good person. I also liked he stoped to take pictures all the time. What I did not like was the attitude of Jack's children. They were always so cold and like trying to avoid him. Also they were hiding that their brother David was on a really bad situation from their father. Overall I enjoyed watching this movie although it was really sad.

6. Personal Response- This week my mother went with my sister to rent a movie. They rented a 2009 movie called “Love Happens” directed by Brandon Camp. Aaron Eckhart plays the main character of the movie Burke Ryan. Burke had lost his wife recently on a terrible accident. He was really affected by this loss. He decided to write a book on how to move on after losing a loved one. His book becomes a best seller and he then becomes like a guru who helps people in seminars to deal with their loss. He falls in love with a woman named Eloise which was played by Jennifer Aniston. Eloise was the florist of the hotel in which he gave his seminars. Despite he wrote a book and knew a lot on how to move on after loosing his wife, he discovers he still not confronted the loss of his wife.

What I liked about this movie, were the seminars Burke gave seen they seemed really fun and really convincing. All of what he said was true, and he helped the people on how to see life from a different perspective and you have to face your fears. This truly helped the people to deal with their loss. Why I did not like about this movie was that Burke sometimes was a real jerk with Eloise. He said ugly stuff to her because he was mad at himself since he blaims himself for his wife's death. But, overall it a was a great movie with a great ending since Burke and Eloise end together.

7.Personal Response- This week on Monday I arrived late at home and found a great movie in TV called “Wanted” directed by Timur Bekmambetov. James McAvoy plays the main character of the movie Wesley. Wesley is an ordinary office worker who seems really frustrated. He leads an ordinary life until found by Fox which is played by Angelina Jolie. She takes him to an organization of assassins named the fraternity. In there he is told by the leader of the fraternity Sloan which is played by Morgan Freeman, that his father was a professional assassin from the fraternity. It all made sense to Wesley since he was not quite sure who he was or where he came from. He trains to become a professional assassin and is sent to many missions. His last mission was to kill an ex fraternity member named Cross, who was the person who killed his father. Wesley manages to put a bullet inside him and just before he dies, he tells Wesley that he is his father, and that everything the Fraternity has told him are lies. Wesley gets really mad since what his father said was all true and decides to take revenge on the fraternity.

What I liked about this movie was all the action and excitement in most of the scenes. There was a lot of combat and encounters between assassins that seemed pretty amazing to me. Also, I liked that Wesley did not give up and in less than 6 weeks of training, he became the best assassin of all, even greater than his father. What I did not like about this movie were the several extraordinary events that occurred. For instance, in the movie the assassins could curve bullets while shooting which seemed pretty foolish and not likely possible to me. Also, the supernatural abilities all the assassins seemed to have that as a product made the movie really fictitious. Overall, I enjoyed this exiting movie despite all the fiction it included.

8. Personal Response-This week I spent the night at my cousin's house where we saw a movie called “The Blind Side” directed by John Lee Hancock. Sandra Bullock alongside Quinton Aaron play the main characters of the movie Ms. Tuohy and Big Mike. Big Mike is a young man who all his life has lived under difficult circumstances. He has no home, and has been affected because of problems at home. His mother is a drug addict and barely responds for him. Mike is accepted at a Christian school despite his learning abilities. The people who gave him a home at that place told him he could not live there anymore. So, when Ms. Tuohy sees mike late at night walking on the street he asks him if he has a place to sleep. He does not so Ms. Tuohy tells him he can stay at her house. She is really caring with Mike and makes him part of the family. Mike with the help of his teachers and tutors overcomes his problem of learning and becomes a great student. He is wanted by many colleges because of his Football abilities. He then becomes a professional NFL player all because of the help and support of Ms. Tuohy and her family.

What I liked about this movie, was all the care support towards Big Mike of Ms. Tuohy and her family. Despite they did not knew him and found him on the streets, they opened the doors of their houses to him. Poor Mike was really lucky to have been found by her. Also, I liked that Mike's athletic abilities were taken in account until he became a professional NFL player. What I did not like was all the pressure that was on Michael. This people did not realize the difficult life Mike had and with this pressure they only confused him. But, overall it was a great movie with really good messages.
